Exploring the problems in drafting history by explaining the value of July 5, 1687; March 9, 1776; and November 24, 1859.

This predominant understanding of history is incorrect for three reasons: It places emphasis on the wrong events. It judges the relative importance of events incorrectly. It ultimately misunderstands which events had the most transformative effects on human life.
