But a dark cloud is hanging over Houston&#8217;s Friday night victory after first baseman <a class=\"colorbox\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/story\/_\/id\/21197888\/houston-astros-first-baseman-yuli-gurriel-suspended-world-series-games-following-gesture-comments-los-angeles-dodgers-pitcher-yu-darvish\">Yuli Gurriel made a racist gesture toward Japanese LA Dodgers player Yu Darvish<\/a>, pulling at the corners of his eyes and appearing to say &#8220;Chinito,&#8221; which is translated as &#8220;little Chinese boy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><!-- END ID=\"RES560618808\" CLASS=\"BUCKETWRAP INTERNALLINK INSETTWOCOLUMN INSET2COL \" --><\/p>\n<p>Just a few hours before Saturday night&#8217;s game, Rob Manfred, the commissioner of Major League Baseball, <a class=\"colorbox\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/m.mlb.com\/news\/article\/259946384\/astros-yuli-gurriel-suspended-5-games-in-2018\/\">announced that Gurriel would be suspended without pay for the first five games of the 2018 season<\/a>.
