into the incident, <a class=\"colorbox\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/sports\/probe-as-russian-athletes-withdraw-ahead-of-doping-tests\/2018\/01\/17\/9935cec0-fb7b-11e7-9b5d-bbf0da31214d_story.html?utm_term=.dd1abe6909e5'\">according to Championat.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sergey Shubenkov, the 2015 world 110-meter hurdle champion, tweeted Wednesday that &#8220;Doping control drove in&#8221; and &#8220;a couple of dozen withdrew,&#8221; <a class=\"colorbox\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.com\/sport\/athletics\/42722906\">according to a translation used by the BBC.<\/a><\/p>\n<aside>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<aside>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/aside>\n<p>In a translation from Russia&#8217;s state-run Tass news agency, Russian Athletics Federation President Dmitry Shlyakhtin said he wasn&#8217;t surprised at the sudden exodus of would-be competitors.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;[We] have a lot of problems at the bottom [of athletics in Russia],&#8221;
