The Obama administration&#8217;s goal was to get as many people enrolled as possible, <a class=\"colorbox\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cms.gov\/Newsroom\/MediaReleaseDatabase\/Fact-sheets\/2016-Fact-sheets-items\/2016-06-21.html\">especially younger, healthier people<\/a> who help subsidize insurance for older and sicker people.<\/p>\n<p>But Trump administration officials at the Department of Health and Human Services, which oversees implementation of the Affordable Care Act, canceled the ads. The move was <a class=\"colorbox\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/story\/2017\/01\/trump-white-house-obamacare-ads-234245\">first reported<\/a> by Politico.<\/p>\n<p>The administration, working with the Republican-controlled Congress, has vowed to repeal the health law and replace it with something else.
